Conducting burner tune-ups, setting up combustion curves for linkageless systems, troubleshooting burner control systems or flame safeguard controls -- all hinge on a solid understanding of the fundamentals of combustion. Knowing these basics is essential to the professionals who do this for a living and to those who contract them to work in their facilities.
This session takes us back to the essentials -- beginning with the combustion triangle. It will be taught in such a way that absolute beginners can acquire this very basic understanding, and experienced veterans can learn and discover nuances they may never have known. It will be taught by a foremost authority on the subject, and include an opportunity to ask questions about troubling and persistent problems you may be dealing with right now.

Who should attend?
John Graham is a senior engineer at Industrial Controls and has close to 30 years experience in the industry. In that time, he has worked with mechanical contractors and industrial and commercial customers selecting discrete components and designing HVAC and industrial solutions. Pneumatics and combustion are two of his many areas of expertise. John did his undergraduate work at the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Ron Mackiewicz is a Regional Vice President at Industrial Controls and has been with them for 11 years. He has 36 years of experience in the HVAC industry. In that time, he worked at Johnson Controls for 23 years and finished as a director of North American distribution. Ron earned his graduate degree in Electrical Engineering at Purdue University.
